so yeah my school started using this new thing called MyClassNews and honestly its kinda cool but also not perfect yet. I thought id share what i think about it cuz its something a lot of students parents and teachers could use but it still got some issues.
basically myclassnews is like an online platform where teachers post all the important stuff about the class like homework tests and announcements. before this we used to get info from the teacher in class or write it down in notebooks but sometimes stuff got lost or people forgot. but now everything is posted online so you can check it anytime you want which is really handy.
one thing i like is that parents can see whats going on too so they know when we have tests or need to hand in assignments. my mom said it makes her feel better cuz she can remind me without always asking. thats pretty helpful since sometimes i forget to tell her whats due.
the website is easy to use but sometimes its a bit slow or buggy like sometimes it wont load or the notifications dont come right away. thats annoying cuz you might miss something important if you dont check the site yourself. also the design is kinda plain and boring so it doesnt really make you wanna check it everyday.
teachers post homework and test dates pretty fast after class so its easier to keep track but sometimes they write really long messages that are hard to understand so it would be better if they just kept it short and clear. also it would be nice if there was a calendar you could sync with your phone so you get reminders automatically.
another thing i noticed is not all teachers use it regularly so sometimes theres no update and then you dont know whats going on. it only works well if everyone actually uses it like theyre supposed to.
overall i think myclassnews is a good idea and helpful for keeping everyone in the loop even tho it has some bugs and could be more fun to use its way better than nothing. if your school doesnt have it yet maybe you should ask about it cuz it could really help.
so yeah if you wanna stay on top of your schoolwork and keep your parents updated give myclassnews a try its not perfect but its a step in the right direction.
